By using Initurn you agree to what follows. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What you get

Initurn provides free file and image conversion tools that run entirely in your web browser. No account is required and there is no charge. We may add, change or remove tools at any time.

Your files stay yours

We claim no ownership of, and no licence to, anything you convert. Because conversion happens on your device, we never receive your files in the first place. You are responsible for having the right to use and convert the files you process here.

Acceptable use

• Do not use these tools to process material you have no right to.
• Do not use them to create or distribute unlawful content, including material that infringes copyright.
• Do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at volume, or resell access to it as your own service.

No warranty

The tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. Conversion is not always lossless: quality settings, colour profiles, metadata and transparency can all change between formats, and some conversions discard information by design. We do not guarantee that any conversion will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your purpose.

Keep your originals. Never treat a converted file as your only copy of anything you care about.

Browser limits

Because everything runs locally, results depend on your browser, your device and its available memory. Large files may fail on a phone that would succeed on a desktop, and some formats are only supported in recent browser versions. A failed conversion is not a fault in your file.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Initurn and its operators are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, including lost or corrupted files, lost profits, or any indirect or consequential loss.

Third-party content

The site displays advertising supplied by third parties and links to external sites. We do not control that content and are not responsible for it. See our privacy policy for how advertising works here.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
